UPF (Ultraviolet Protection Factor) represents the ratio of sunburn-causing UV without and with the protection of the fabric, similar to SPF (Sun Protection Factor) ratings for sunscreen. While standard summer fabrics have UPF ~6, sun protective clothing typically has UPF ~30, which means that only 1 out of ~30 units of UV will pass through (~3%). ***Please use a soft measuring tape, which can be found at any Walmart or grocery store with a sewing kit.
⁉️IMPORTANT⁉️: Please, see the above picture to know where to measure your pig for the measurements. I need measurements for your pig's neck, the girth (measure behind the front legs & around), and the length of your pig (from neck to beginning of their tail).
I would advise measuring at least 2-3 times since they wiggle and squirm so much (lots of Cheerios help).
The shirt fabric is 100% a poly/cotton blend and interfacing is used in the body. Plastic adjustable buckles and webbing are used to fasten around the underbelly (girth) and another strap goes around the neck.
